Cricket Tournament

Year 5 went to Netherfield Cricket Ground for the Small Schools' Cricket tournament on June 30th. What a super day! The sun shone and fours and sixes were the order of the day. Milnthorpe came 3rd out of 18 schools; losing just one match. Well done to everyone and a big thank you to Mr.Barr and Mrs.Ward for accompanying the children.

Year 1 walk to Dallam Tower

Year 1 had a lovely walk to Dallam Tower on Monday 28th June. They saw lots of deer, sheep and ducks. What a great way to spend a sunny afternoon!

Nursery Big Toddle

Both nursery sessions took part in Barnardo's Big Toddle. The children walked around the school field and took part in races including egg and spoon and running. Well done to everyone who took part and many thanks to the parents who came along and supported and raised money.

England Day

We all dressed up in red and white to support England ahead of their game with Algeria. Let's hope our support has the desired effect!

Rugby tournament

Children from Years 5 and 6 went to Kirkby Lonsdale for a rugby tournament. They improved as the day progressed and they won two of their matches. Well done to all of them.

Land ahoy!

Friday May 14th

Today, pirates were seen invading Year 1. They were very scary but looked great!

Table tennis tournament

Five boys from Years 4 to 6 took part in a table tennis tournament at Dallam School on Friday 30th April. This was their first tournament and they all played extremely well, coming third overall and missing out on second place by just one point.

Well done to them!
